At Table 301, we've been giving back to the community since before we even opened our doors. That's no exaggeration. Co-owners Carl Sobocinski and David Williams had a chance to participate in "Fall for Greenville," the community's annual culinary benefit, in 1997. So, before construction on our first restaurant---Soby's---was even complete, they jumped in and took part as a means of helping local non profits.

It was a sign of things to come.

Four restaurants and two related businesses later, Table 301 is proud to have contributed over $1 million in 12 years to deserving non-profits and causes in Greater Greenville.

We can't help ourselves. We just believe in giving back to a community that has supported our business so well over the years. Besides, it's fun and it makes us feel good to see what our contributions can mean to those in need.

If you represent a non-profit that is seeking our help, just see below and see if you qualify, in terms of our focus areas. Given the times, we've decided we can do the most good and have the greatest impact by focusing our support---and doing so in the area of Basic Human Needs. By that we mean: food, clothing, and shelter. If your request fits, then just please complete an application for assistance. Table 301 seldom contributes cash, but we do give lots of other great goods and services that can translate into proceeds for your organization. We can't promise that we'll say "Yes" to your request, but we promise that we'll give it a hard look.

The fact that we're giving priority to Basic Human Needs right now does not mean that we don't value the community's artistic, cultural, educational or other organizations that don't fit that definition. We do, and have sup-ported many. It's just that basic human needs are acute right now. Also, we have the prerogative to change our giving focus from time to time---to keep up with changing times. And we will. But for now, we need to focus on the basics.

Please Note: Applications for donations, which must be received by the end of the month, are reviewed in the following month.

With the public's continued support, we hope to provide many more years of fine dining and many thousands of dollars of philanthropic assistance to deserving organizations in the Upstate.
